Short time lurker here, I've been looking through TRP and finally had the change to enact some of the changes to finally open my eyes to what things really are.

BackStory:

There is a co-ed tag football league I participate in and there are many many female specimens to choose from but they are typically being guarded by guys who look like feral poop bathing trolls so conversation is near impossible as they will form a "meat shield" to keep any interested guy away from the female body in their group.

The report:

I happened to be waiting on the sideline standing next to the woman holding the down marker and struck up a casual conversation about beer and such. I maintained eye contact and let her talk to her hearts content but as she continued to converse she became less and less interested in the game at hand and more in the guy who said fewer and fewer words to her as he watched the game unfold. She asked probing questions about me to which I laughed off with a joke or a "i'm not sure you're cool enough yet to know all that" type of response.

So the game ends and I begin to walk to my car, she literally chases me down to exchange numbers and on the spot I have her call my phone from hers. Later on in the evening during the text conversation she demands that we have a date because I seem like "a nice guy". That message sounded the alarm and I quickly countered with "Nah, I'd like to do something other than that, like coffee" to which she happily accepted my counter offer by saying "Coffee, yum".

At this point I was amazed that I was able to act upon TRP's guidance and things just flowed from the beginning up until the first "Challenge" attempt she made.

TL;DR: Met a woman at a co-ed tag football game, talked and remained nonchalant, exchanged numbers, she demanded a date, countered with hanging out over coffee.
