There was a reddit post I read a couple of years ago that had to do with men playing poker. Essentially, it was a group of 4 men, and no one wanted to have poker at their houses because of their wife and kids, so they pooled their money to rent a cheap studio apartment. Literally the only purpose of the studio was to have a poker table. There was no bed, no TV, hell I don't even think there wifi. There was a toilet to shit in, and a kitchen they never used. They probably bought snacks and put it in the pantry.

Anyways, one of the wives found out, and all hell broke loose. She accused him of cheating. Then when it came out they wanted a place to play poker they started whining about how it was "financial abuse" to "hide" the fact they were renting an apartment.

This was with his money. You know, the kind you get from working a job.
