Just do it. Women do it all the time without remorse. Humans seem to have a genetically wired urge to "ghost" more often than not, probably because confrontation leads to death, or at least it used too... so you could just avoid contact. Either that or as a man you can just start acting very beta.. buy her flowers and tell her how she's your everything.. start crying in front of her and tell her how you can't handle the pressures of the world. She'll be gone soon enough.

But if you feel you must, just say politely that you feel like you want to be on your own for a while and dont want to be with anyone right now and want some time alone.

She can take that however she wants, but her response is not your problem.

I did this mid last year, and just said it wasnt working and I dont want to date at all, got alot of anxiety issues from the crazy ex before this one because that was a worse breakup.

It's the right thing for you. And making the right, difficult choice in the face of high emotions is a skill. It's a good skill to have and develop. Useful in other situations too where there is high emotions. There's so many techniques but what I did last time was I met my ex in a public place, got there early. Wrote out what I wanted to say but didn't rehearse too much or it'd seem canned. I broke up with her before we even ordered coffee.

Approach the situation with respect for her and confidence in the direction you want to take your life. Or ghost her like a pussy. Whatever works for you.

Tell her it's over. Face to face, say "We're done -I'm out". Don't string her along or try to make it easy on her, or by doing it gradually. Breaking up by cheating or ghosting? Not my style and I don't recommend it. But, if you want out you have a RIGHT TO GET OUT and you should be able to do so without crap, or emotional abuse.

Tell her it's over, block her number and delete it off your phone. Resist the urge to call her, and do NOT answer calls or emails or attempts to be contacted through friends or acquaintances. If you need to avoid a few places before she's on to her next guy, then do it.
