Freelancing. Use google, look at what skills are in demand. Then, learn it. Start with small rates, as you build up the reviews/testimonials/portfolio, you will make more money.

Take a couple of machining classes at a local trade school/tech college.

Many machine shops are so hard up for qualified workers, they will hire you even if you have minimal experience and train you on their machines.

Learn a trade, electricians/plumbers/AC technicians/etc. make a decent amount of money. It's manual labor, but I'm jealous of the money they make
