I've been lifting for 12 years now (basically my entire adult life) and I look as you'd expect with probably around 10-12% bf. I've never noticed that random girls are appreciative of my body. I don't see them checking me out getting their hands on me.

Is lifting supposed to benefit by improved confidence? Are girls extra sneaky about showing their appreciation? Is it useful only in some environments like clubs or places with warmer climate? Do I need an attitude to go with the muscles?

What I did notice is that girls who are already into me love my body, but girls who are not into me or don't know me completely ignore it. I've had more compliments from girls on my hair than my body, and the hair was a lot easier to get. And guys are always giving me props, shit I can't have a conversation with a guy without it veering towards the topic of lifting.

Not that the answer matters much, I'm going to keep lifting, I just haven't seen much benefit of having a great body. Other long time lifters - how do girls react to your body?
