First, congratulations, it's a smart decision to go mgtow. Now focus on that education and learning a trade or getting into higher education if that's your path.

Second, yes I would absolutely recommend going to school dances and other social functions. Think of it as a class that helps you refine your social skills for the company Christmas parties, church socials, or entertaining clientele events you'll have to do in the future.

Dont sweat it if you dont have or dont want a date. Just say you're going solo (us old fuckers used to call it going Stag).

Enjoy the dance, and when it's time to leave, do so gracefully and with confidence.

I would visit the red pill and not swear off women at such a young age. You have so much time to transform yourself and enjoy, in moderation, the pleasures that make being human worthwhile.

Unless you're one of the popular kids, it's a waste of time.

The bigger thing is to realize that high school really is just a blip on the radar of your life. It seems terribly important now because you've only been a live a short time, and you've only started being aware of things a few years. You'll be alive for decades. Don't let the bullshit that happens during these four years define your life. You'll likely never see 95% of those people ever again once it's over. Just get through it.

Hey there young dude! I went to school dances before I found about going my own way. And easily the best memories I have from those events was the fun times I had with my buddies!

Don’t miss out on life to go your own way. Date or don’t that’s your choice and part of going your own way. More importantly the best part of highschool is the friends you make the, adventures, and shenanigans you guys have.

As a working adult in his kid 20’s the one thing that made the biggest thing that let me go MGTOW was the friends and support networks.
