My wife and I are not legally separated yet, she’s in Florida and I’m in WA per recent difficulties with the marriage. We filed jointly on our taxes with no children last year and the most recent stimulus landed in her account. I’ve asked multiple times if she’s going to send me my half and come to find out she’s spent it already and had no plans to pay it to me. What are my options for that check or any future ones. Does she really just get to keep all that money?
