Hello all,

I had posted under a different name and no longer have that account, but wanted to reach out and say thank you to all who contribute to this thread. It helped me through the darkness, and I am happy to say I made it out to the other side. To keep a long story short, I had the country song divorce: lost the wife, house, dog and everything except my clothes and pickup truck and some odds and ends things. I’m here to tell anyone just now starting this process it does get better. Since January, my divorce has been innitiated and finalized, I got a new house with an awesomely low interest rate and fully furnished it. My work performance has gone back to where it was before I got married and am making more money that at any time during my 5 year marriage. I’m down to my pre marriage weight and am in great shape. I even met a woman who has been divorced for a year who has agreed to a nothing serious arrangement (though it has taken getting used to having a woman around who will actually cook me a meal and isn’t adverse to sex ha). So when you are sitting there missing her or second guessing yourself and your decisions just know this: it can and will get better and keep moving forward no matter what.
