My lawyer sent the letter from my previous post to STBXW’s Attorney. Apparently the secretary there sent a copy to STBXW who then texted me this:

I won’t to make it clear you do not have my permission to tape me in my home. If you tape me I will obtain an attorney and take you to court!

Apparently she can’t spell either! Also I think her attorney is now sick of her and that’s why she says she will obtain another lawyer.

I asked my lawyer to advise and got this response from her:

Technically, under Massachusetts's wiretapping law, if a party to a conversation is aware that you are recording and does not want to be recorded, it is up to that person to leave the conversation. It is against the law to SECRETLY record someone. Not sure how much you want to press her on this. I cannot respond directly to her, as she is still represented by counsel. Kind of surprised I didn't hear back from her lawyer.

Update: Next week will be one year since trial finished!
