Things are getting rocky I hope we figure it out but I’m planning for the worst. Two kids. I will be looking at places soon to move and was wondering if I rent a basement with small windows can they report it as unsafe dwelling and take away my custody? I think in my area of Toronto Ontario Canada there are laws that a basement without full size windows (for fire exits) are not legal dwellings.
