34 years old, married 10 yrs, 3 y/o daughter

Wife has a history of substance abuse starting in 2013 (5 years into marriage)

Two DUIs in March/May 2013. Resulted in one conviction, other got reduced to driving with a suspended license.

Wife started using heroin in 2015 after our daughter was born. She assaulted me in Jan 2017, but not arrested since it happened in Arizona on the way home to San Diego. Visit to the ER resulted in a CPS investigation that got dropped.

Arrested July 2017 with 2 counts of drug possession (heroin and meth), 1 count under the influence, 1 count possession of paraphernalia.

Another CPS investigation in Sept 2017 following an anonymous report of her using with a bunch of dudes with our kid in the house while I was deployed for training. Arrested again a week later for same charges as in July.

Both drug cases still ongoing, looks like she’ll get a deferral maybe.

Did 3 weeks in patient rehab and 2 months outpatient, but needs to finish 2 more months.

Came home for Christmas, I found two meth pipes in her stuff, and found out she’s sending naked pics of herself to some dude.

I’m filing for divorce this week. I have a TON of documentation for all arrests, ER photos of my face cut up, and photo evidence of her drug paraphernalia and text conversations with 10-15 different people to buy/sell drugs.

There’s no chance she’ll get custody right? Gonna look for a lawyer this month after I file. Need to get that ball rolling. Expecting first court date in August after the 6 month cool off period.
