I feel the need to unfollow this sub.. my divorce was final yesterday after almost 600 days of hell. I suppose I started reading here because I hoped to hear someone worse off than me. That never happened, i have gone through the shit show of a lifetime and the worst part is that it never ends.

Worst than you huh? Well... did your wife sleep with your older brother and completely ruin not only your life but what little was left of your family? Because if you want I can dive deep into why I can't even look at old photos or reminisce on the past memories because my older brother has almost been in all of them. Do you at least have that to go home to because I don't. Saw pictures of them two that would make Hue Hefner blush that is forever burned into my psyche. I'm not even doing Thanksgiving or Christmas this year because that's how fucked up the family is right now. And it gets much much worse too believe me. If soul crushing legal woes is all you got to worry about consider yourself lucky

Some people love to fight. Divorce lawyers are happy to make money from it. What happened that made it take so long? Usually it's because of lots of money, various businesses, and self employment. Another issue is when there are bitter custody battles.
