i do (power) yoga and sometimes read yoga-ish things

i'm from a 'very manly' background and after many years of marriage realizing how hurt my wife is by my misconceptions of manliness centered around dominance, selfishness, squashing her for fear of feminism creeping in... trying to relearn what a man is, biblically.... the concept of 'asisma' in yoga teachings is not unique to that world but is not often emphasized in american christian teaching although its other names (peace, gentleness, etc. are often foudn in the bible, its just not 'very american' so you'll never hear a men's group sermon on it in my corners of the world it seems)
