Are you attempting to convey that it doesn’t matter what state you are in?? I would be stunned by that. As far as I know there are only a few states where the officer can order you out.

They can’t even keep you there longer than it takes to fulfill the original cause for the stop unless they have a cause that can be articulated.

If it turns out that I’m wrong then that wouldn’t surprise me only because the government tramples your rights all the time.

In America it’s supposed to be an unwritten understanding that the state isn’t supposed to fuck with you without cause, period... however it’s obvious that the oligarchy wants us to have as few rights as possible... and what better way for a cop to get passed the reasonable barriers of cordiality than to make you get out?

See... because the problem is, that when you step out? They search you. That’s bullshit.

Secondly, the way cops pat you down is important. They aren’t attempting to learn what’s on you, they’re only checking to see if you can be reasonably believed to be armed... that’s all. There’s a HUGE diff between a pat down for weapons and the pat down you will actually get from a cop... they will grab objects through your clothes which isn’t legal. It’s bullshit.

I get ordered out, fine... but why do you get to touch me now that I’m out? You weren’t touching me in the car so why am I being touched now? Because that’s why they want you out in the first place, so they can encroach further into your privacy.

It’s bullshit, and I’d appreciate your opinions on what I’ve said after you tell me about how the law applies.

Seems like I was just misinformed if what you’re saying is on point.

It’s just... the whole logic of it being a “reasonable intrusion” on those grounds is just faulty because you could use it anytime the state directly interacts with the public.... if a cop decides to accost me then he gets to know what’s on me? That’s completely contrary to the spirit of the 4th amendment. I only forfeit my rights when I commit a criminal act or an act that would make a reasonable person believe that I am about to commit a crime... there’s nothing in the 4th about “unless it would make a cops job easier/safer”. The bill of rights man... it’s not supposed to be a flimsy document... but it’s like it’s misunderstood completely. We’re supposed to be protected from the state. They aren’t supposed to be protected from us. Someone that works in law enforcement is supposed to uphold the constitution FIRST, literally give their lives to uphold that shit.... that’s why they’re supposed to deserve respect, because when the job is done correctly it is fairly unsafe. To do what law enforcement does, to go where they go, AND to have to uphold the spirit of the constitution? That’s hard and potentially very dangerous work, and that’s why we used to see them as heroes. Cops are supposed to be slow to pull the trigger at their own expense, you know what I mean? As a civilian I can pop you if you make me think you’re a credible threat to my life, but a cop? Shit, he has to try to protect this person from themselves... wow, that’s some hero shit... but lol... ordering me out just so they can get their hands on my pockets and shit? That’s some BULLSHIT. How dare I be asked out of my care without me having done anything to merit such a thing... I’m a god damned American. I deserve to not be tread upon unless I am actively or about to tread on someone else.

So... someone is going like 7 over... or better yet has a tag light out...and has a little dime sack in his pocket... why does the cop have the right to discover that sack just because he pulled him over? He gets to literally unlawfully search the person... for officer safety? Lol fuck officer safety.... what about my rights? My rights are more important than such a thing.

Pffffft.... officer safety.... cool, then let’s go around the the back of my car so we’re in view of the dashcam, and don’t touch me unless you’re arresting me and make that a law and then I wouldn’t be bitching, but illegally searching me because of “officer safety?” What are we in Russia?
