I don't think this will go anywhere. Medicaid was defunding circumcision a decade ago, then they did those African studies. The real purpose of those studies was to get the scientific consensus people to issue new proclamations so they could shore up Medicaid and prevent it from happening again. It's too late for us now.

Same thing happens with fluoride. A town will have to keep voting against it over and over. They might have to vote it down 12 times, but if they ever vote in favor, they get stuck with it forever and will never be able to call a vote on it again. The AAP will never turn back the clock on circumcision.
