Hello, I'm SlyAlphaMike or SlyAM for short. I'm 17 years old in high school finishing my senior year. I found TRP back in November and have been on the subreddit since then. I've read most if not all of the sidebar, I'm talking about maybe 5-6% not read yet as I have a busy life and can't always find the time to get on the internet. I am a constant lurker and finding TRP was like waking up from a beautiful dream world into an ugly reality, but if you had the right knowledge and knew how to live in this reality, you could ultimately make it in the end. To me TRP just makes sense, and I've been able to identify so many of my past wrongs with females and in past relationships because of my Beta behavior, but since then I've been working on improvement. Focusing on me before mostly anyone (family is still very important, and friends), and leaving the bitches in the dust for the time being as I make myself the best version of me I can be.

TRP has helped me immensely in discovering my own self-worth and helping me to build confidence that was always there, I just had "lost" it. I've been lifting for over two months (started in December) and went from 120/125 to 140/145. I'm proud of that and the progress I made/am continuing to make, and I can now identify that I am indeed very attractive and any girl would be happy to call me theirs. As I continue on improving I decided that I should make the most of what I have left of my senior year and try to finally get laid. I do want a relationship (I know, some of you are already saying "That's a bad Idea kid") but with my new found knowledge and skills I think I could have a relationship where I'm in charge and don't get too emotionally invested like may of my past relationships (She is not yours, it's just your turn!)

There is still one problem I can't seem to overcome, although I may not just be trying hard enough. Like I said since I've found TRP, it acting as the catalyst for my new found train of self-improvement I am currently riding, I have developed more confidence and a sense of self-worth I didn't even have close to three months ago. The issue is I can still not find the confidence to approach girls.

I mean I can but it's like if they're in my classes or a friend of a friend. I wanna be able to just walk up to any girl I want to and just talk to her, tease her, past any shit tests, get her digits, and then blast her brains out (or even just to talk to her!). I think this is still hard for me as I have a massive fear of being rejected from childhood related issues and I just wanna overcome this. I've seen some girls in my school (HB7's and HB8's) just walking past me in the halls and staring, particularly fucking drooling, but for the life of me, I can not find the balls to go up and talk to them. I know a common belief on TRP is that you must just do it, even if you face rejection, over and over again to help destroy this fear, but I need to know how to destroy the initial fear that comes with the thought of approaching that hottie and chatting her up even if I am to get rejected in the end. So what I am asking for here is some advice on how to destroy this initial fear, or I guess you could call it approach anxiety and get over it. Any and all advice will be appreciated immensely, thank you.

(This is my first post on AskTRP so if I am breaking a rule or guideline I am sorry. Let me know and I will change whatever must be changed, Thanks again SlyAM)
