I am a freelancer but for almost a year, I rarely find projects to work on. Since January, I have only worked on 8 projects ranging from $15-40. I was trying to find a job these days but everywhere I look newspapers, online job portals, etc. majority of companies are looking only for female staff. I have no idea what to do.

What do you recommend? If I should continue freelancing, how can I improve it?

I was thinking about sending my CV to people who are only looking for female staff, but I'm sure it would get ignored.
