I've seen so many negative posts here recently. I thought I should share something positive.

I'm a regular customer at one of the restaurants in my local area. Most of the waiters know me and there's usually one waiter who takes my order. I usually order the same thing so he knows already until I specifically ask for a change in the order.

I always treat the waiters and the staff with respect. It's just in my nature to be respectful regardless of what kind of job or status they have.

While I was waiting for the order, the waiter came to me and asked me if he can talk to me about something. At first, I thought I did something wrong or maybe what I ordered is not available. But I said sure. He told me he likes my nature and how I treat him with respect. I thanked him and told him that he deserves it. We had a small talk about random stuff until my order came. It made my day.

I gave him an even bigger tip today than I usually do.
