Recently commented on the post about a 7 year old boy rescuing his sister from a fire. My take was that toxic masculinity viewpoint entails that is the 7 year old's duty, simply because he is a male. I believe this line of thinking comes from fathers who try to make their sons like "real men". There may be some mothers who think this way too, but I think they have been told to think like this by their husbands/boyfriends or fathers.

There was also another post which I commented on about male nudity in a movie and how it was glorified. The article that was linked to it showed the opinions on the girls (now grown up) on what they thought of the nude scene where the girls steal the boys clothes while they swam in a lake naked. They were all joking about it I'm a pretty disturbing way, disturbing because this is about a kid. And there was one particular boy character who all the girls said they wanted to see naked. He's grown up now but he jokingly tweeted about the nude scene asking one of the girls (also now grown up) if she paused the movie as he was bending down (which allegedly would have shown his penis). This is a man who believes that males don't deserve bodily privacy as females do. This type of joking attitude about male humiliation as it relates to nudity (and even children) is disturbing and it is encouraged by men themselves.

So the point is, while there are women who may say/post stuff that is anti MRM, I believe that they are being enabled by men who themselves are against MRM. If those men stopped their detrimental words and actions against MRM, the women would stop as well. Now of course this won't be absolute. There will be women who will hate MRM no matter what any man says. True, but my belief is that for the most part, women takes cues from men when it relates to men's issues. So if the men are not serious, mock, or flat out are against MRM, the women will follow suit (again, not all but generally speaking).
