It's amazing how much support women need just to function as an adult

It really is just those pesky men getting jobs for no good reason, like working 80 hours a week, doing things women refuse to do or study 90% of their lives. No no, the only credential you should aim for in the real world is being a woman.

Thay say:"Gender equality gives men and women the same opportunities at work"

Great. So how can they reconcile that principle with denying men access to these programmes?

Yet another programme that's only available based on gender rather than need.

What the hell is wrong with Australia these days?

"It’s no secret that women-dominated industries have been more severely impacted by the pandemic."

If you mean it's not a secret because it is only a theoretical statement, with no evidence to support it.

"Not only are women disproportionately delivering frontline essential services, including in health (79% female) and education (70% female), they are also over-represented in industries most impacted during the pandemic, including retail (58% female), hospitality (56% female) and the arts (48% female)." (proportions from Australian Bureau of Statistics).

So women are just a little more represented in occupations that are losing jobs, and extraordinarily over represented in occupations with very secure or additional jobs? The 45% or more men in retail, hospitality and arts may be equally disadvantaged, but will not be helped because the sexist pigs in Australian governments only help women.
