I think there is more than one issue happening at the same time. I agree with the guy in the video that there are probably some officials in the Japanese government who are biased against women by thinking that they shouldn't be allowed to be independent. But at the same time, if the government is giving more help to homeless women than it is to homeless men, then in that situation the government is being biased against men.

I see this happening a lot nowadays where people like that guy in the video will take a situation that is biased against men and try to turn it around to pretend that it is against women instead. It's like they think that even things that work against men have to somehow be to men's advantage because "the patriarchy" is the thing that is making it happen, so why would "the patriarchy" ever try to hurt a man... These people are like a weird kind of conspiracy theorist.
