And here comes the obvious AWALT. It takes a lot of patience and work to get over those natural hypergamy tendencies as a woman.

It's nice to know we've restored your faith somewhat, but I wouldn't go out screaming NAWALT because we exist. We all stumble here occasionally or slip up, but the important thing is that we try to fix the mistakes rather than just letting them consume us and eventually become a walking relationship problem.

Just don't allow yourself to become too comfortable in a relationship to where you stop trying because than can be a major relationship killer (it goes for women as well), and you should be just fine. At least now you have a better idea of what to look for and what to view as a red flag.

I dont no what to say other than ( i say this with great trepidation) NAWALT lol ) You got your fingers burnt and in all likelyhood it may well happen again (guard yourself ) BUT this sub is a small maybe insignificant reminder that there are some worthy women out there. I say this because i think its really positive that you made this post and not just written women off. If you want a LTR dont settle even if it means spending your life looking. in the mean time fill your boots and have fun

Oh that is really terrible, sounds like you had yourself a dud. The positive thing for you is that you are a man! You will only get more distinguished and attractive with time. Your "SMV" will skyrocket throughout the years and she will be wondering "why oh why" did I leave that guy? Especially once she slams into the wall and not even the random, non-committed dicks want to throw her any bones. [Prepare for her to come crawling back oneday... lol!]

I would recommend going to TRP. Sure, it can be a little harsh, but there are realities within the text. I would also, personally, never include your woman into your finances. She should not know how much you are making, how much X costs, or when you get paid. [If you want to incorporate these things into her reality, do it slowly and over a period of time.] Even if you are together for a while, be sure to keep some element of mystery. It will help ensure that you have the upper-hand in the relationship.
