Heres my story, I would usually take the bus and to whoever was driving male or female i would be respectful and say thank you after getting off at my stop. I had many experiences where female drivers would act rude towards me for no good reason, one example would be that i didn’t notice that my backpack clicked the stop button multiple times on a ride due to the size, she called me out infront of other riders and for that i said sorry due to genuinely not knowing it was me, once i got to my stop i said thank you and she acted even more rude, she proceeded to call me a smart ass and used a condescending tone on me. An hour passed and i had to get on the same bus to go home from class and she still proceeded with the name callin and said i was getting on her nerves even though it was a one time thing. Another time she was also getting really upset with me just cause my dollar wouldn’t go in and would start acting really rude towards me even though there was no one behind me so i wasn’t holding up the bus. She also displayed similar behavior towards other men for no good reason, but as soon as a random woman would show up she’d act super friendly to them. She would also make me wait to get on last when one woman was near me which i understand cause ya know the saying woman first, but many of the times the woman with me would tell me to go on before hand since they were lookin for their money and i had my bus pass on me which makes it much quicker, but the driver wouldn’t listen to them and force them to go first. Another separate incident would be i press the stop button halfway when im near/good distance from my stop and they skip it but as soon as is with a women they stop as quickly as possible which is wild due to them acting like they couldn’t hear it even tho the button makes a loud noise and the time i accidentally pressed they obviously had issues with it. I want to hear your guy’s thoughts on this and if you share any similar experiences yourself.
