I am just tired and exhausted. I had to fire up my old throwaway account so I could post here because god forbid the crap I'd get with my regular reddit account. I am not here to put down women or think they deserve less as fellow human beings or anything. I don't even know why I had to caveat that.
But as a male in my early 30s, I have finally come to realize how many women are just straight up bullies. How they try to involve other (willing?) men and women when they don't get their way. How they are absolutely allowed (some of them, not all, let's be rational) to get away with it and there is absolutely nothing I or anyone else can do about it besides purse our lips, maybe try to say something, get yelled at and walk away.
I am talking about a nurse at the hospital who was barking orders at men like they were dogs. I am talking about that woman at a cafe patio who came in snapping her fingers demanding a seat because there were none available. I am talking about a poor guy I saw who was on a date and absolutely into her and being ignored because she wanted to take selfies with the food. I am talking about that friend's sister who chooses to just absorb money from her dad, her brother, her ex, her current boyfriend, and her son because she thinks they can't/won't say no.
Why would they do they that? Like why? Because they are the "helpless sex"? Because they have been "historically oppressed"? Like what the actual fuck. (And yes, I live in a first world country. The best of the best. This is not a perspective from a developing nation.)
I just get so angry and helpless when I run into people like these or when I see them on video or read about them. I know if it was a man, I'd call them out on their behaviour but with these sorts of women, I just can't do anything. None of us can, isn't it? And it'd be fine if they were isolated and ruining their own lives. Just wallowing in their own patheticness. But they lash out when called out. On me, other men I know, and strangers I have observed when they get challenged. I am dangerously starting to think about them like the 19th century "hysterical female" attitude which seems like b.s. now but maybe it wasn't.
I have SO many amazing and awesome female friends where I never think about their sex or gender. I have never. We are just ... on the same page. But then you have these troglodytes come out of a bygone era, puffed up with makeup, trying to act like charming greek goddesses.
Is anyone else angry about this? Do I have to suck it up and deal with them...whoever they think they are...forever? Ugh I have just been so mad about this for years. Maybe we need gender segregation again.
