If a guy had slapped a woman, heads would roll, because its somehow more equal to let women behave badly without repercussion.

Says to the cops immediately yeah i slapped him. No punishment. The sad thing is though this guy's only option really is to let them slap him about. It even says in the article they slapped him originally because he was backing away. Just because you went through a breakup with another human doesn't give you or your sister the right to assault them come on.

Zero tolerance for domestic violence (1800RESPECT). When is DV tolerated and empowered? When sexist pigs sit on the bench, and ignore domestic violence based on the sex of the victim.

Great job Magistrate Ross Hudson, for showing men that they are not deserving of the protection of the law, that they can be assaulted by their domestic partners and have that DV trivialised and dismissed, and that the aspiring lawyers should be above the law. NO JUSTICE FOR MEN IN AUSTRALIA.

When a guy does it, it's patriarchy and misogyny.

When a woman does it, it's just acting out of character.

What the hell does that even mean? Are they in a drama or a play? Did they forget their script? Even misdemeanor is too little for such an act.
