So, basically what you are reacting to is the cover art. Reacting to your post, i tend to think you would expect to find well, bad stuff, actually i wont put words in your mouth. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

some nudity, from a nudist colony. An article asks "Can a man be raped?" and I have just looked at the first bit of it but it seems kind of level headed, sadly like something that might be written today.

It made me laugh a little bit. You should check out javas bachelor pad.

I wonder how a magazine like that, with such a title, would go over today. I actually think it would sell quite well. It's like a classy version of Howard Stern. I could see comics and models (the kind you glue together) being sold, and erotic sci-fi about villages that don't exist on exotic planets.

I could actually see myself writing such fiction for money, contact me if you're interested. :) (I can also do audio, I have the gear for it.)

And I bet a lot of the readers would be women, who wanted to be pinup models. (I think pinup models are actually a bigger thing with women than with men actually, anyway, the pages of such a publication would give them an avenue to do that)

Had I the cash, I might even invest in such a publication.

Overall, not a bad thing but clearly entertainment not news. It would need comics. (Maybe even distributed as a comic book, CBR file?)
