Natural masculinity is fine. There is nothing inherently wrong with men having statistical personality differences from women, and if these are due to biological factors then they likely serve some good purposes both in terms of relationships within families due to reproductive differences and in terms of a wider diversity of thought in societies as wholes.

Our culture's socially constructed masculinity however, has problems. In my opinion a lot of that is because what was once healthy in masculinity has been rendered unhealthy for men, and much that was affirming about it has been outright ungendered or even reframed as feminine because of the effects of feminism. But I suppose that's another conversation.

The feminist term "toxic masculinity" makes talking about how our culture's ideas of masculinity aren't all healthy quite difficult by associating those conversations with what has effectively become a slur.

So in a sense you did word it wrong by not prefacing it with "I don't hate men and I don't think the average man is significantly more toxic overall than the average woman and I definitely believe a positive masculinity that benefits both men and women is possible and has existed throughout history and into our current times and I'm not saying every form of stoicism is bad and I'm not blaming men just for conforming to the expectations society sets for them which I know includes women too but...".

Unfortunately even with all that preface some men will feel threatened because feminism has weaponized the word masculinity.
