Wat. When did I say women can't be abusers tho. I was just pointing out that people have always been shitty towards one another and that women are not less happy than before. I'm pretty sure women from Ancient Rome were less happy than women today because they were considered lesser beings than men by law, or women who for religious reasons were obligated to marry their rapists. That's all I was arguing, while also adding this shit still happens today in some parts of the world.

The only thing you said I took issue with is that you said women are more unhappy now in comparison. Neither women nor men face outright inhumane treatment without some kind of backlash today. That's all. And I mean, bride buying is still a thing. The two camels part was a joke, but it is still practiced and it's fucked up. Sex trafficking still exists, and even though women make up a bigger percentage of survivors, there's men out there who are survivors too, and they face more stigma when talking about their experiences. Fucked up shit still happens, but at least now it is not as widespread and accepted as it used to be (even though the Twitter MAPS are challenging that). Women in western societies in general are happier than they were because of all the progress. That's all. Just want to make sure we don't let bitchy radfems make us forget of women who have actually faced terrible shit in the past and those that continue to do so today.
