It’s a good point and I think we could be missing a trick here around that exact idea. Anyone who writes for a living thinks about how their stuff will be read and this person certainly wrote this with their eyes up. People in the communications industry are usually pretty savvy about how people read. It’s obviously designed to outrage.

Surely this is classic troll behaviour. It’s so crowbarred in to the headline that I have to assume it’s designed to raise heckles, drive clicks and possibly generate quotes from us that can be taken out of context to prove the misogyny/stupidity of the MRM. And it seems to be working a little.

Best course of action is to let stupid crazy hateful people talk loudly and out themselves as the problem while we walk on by to a better future. All the sane people (nearly everyone) will make up their own mind.
