I feel for her, assignments and placement at the same time suck hard, and doing it with depression on top makes it all the more difficult (i've been there and done that) but you gotta put it in the work even if it kills ya. Universities are pretty accommodating for mental health issues as it is, mine was only to happy to give me an extra week when I was struggling.

And she's studying to be a nurse? Like, depression and anxiety you can work on and theoretically work with depending on how bad it gets, but chronic pain and weakness + nursing are somewhat mutually exclusive concepts.
