Recently I’ve heard of the empathy gap and apparently women and children receive a lot more empathy than men on average and it’s always been that way from the start. So it let me to wonder, when do boy children start to lose empathy from society? My theory is they lose empathy when they hit puberty and become hairy, horny, viewed as sex crazed predators and bigger than their female peers, in other words become physically men and indistinguishable from grown men. In early human days you were considered an adult if you made it to puberty. By the late teens they’re bigger and taller than both their female peers and grown adult women and are now the next batch of men
