Threatened to hit his girlfriend (didn't actually do it), in self defense, then hid in the car, because she was trying to rape him.

I've heard of male victims of domestic violence being arrested instead of their abusers (in fact academic research indicates that this is a widespread structural problem that needs to be fixed) but I've never heard of a man being arrested while defending himself from sexual assault.

Granted, I can't say I'm not surprised.

This is another statistic that will be used to show that DV is male on female. How many other DV incidents are really female on male DV, but are recorded as male on female by sexist pigs in uniform?

TLDR: Girlfriend is THOT, always wants sex. Want to force the guy into sex (rape) , guy locks himself in his GFs car. She tries to bust the window open and fails (so empowered). She calls police, they come and they charge him with trespassing and domestic violence. Not once do they call it rape. They say the things SHE did like "allegedly" etc etc but what he did as facts.

The real title should be “Man failed to follow police instructions and verbally threatened his girlfriend during a domestic Dispute. “ he wasn’t arrested in any way related to refusing sex. He was an asshole after the fact

He refused to get out of her car, and was arrested for threatening her, trespass and resisting arrest. Not because he was avoiding "rape." FFS... (here's where they call me an incel and a rape apologist.) 🙄.
