Transgender rights are now enshrined in law in places like Canada. I'm not sure where they stand in the United States, but the wind is clearly at their back.

The reality is, we, as MRAs, need to embrace all men: that includes transwomen and transmen.

Transwomen have broken down barriers much faster than MRAs have been able to. Right now, "they have the mic". They're in women's DV shelters, women's rape crisis centres, women's clubs, women's watshrooms -- virtually all women's spaces are open to them. In every area in which men are discriminated against, transwomen have been able to make their way in while men have struggled for decades (DV shelters comes to mind) to get even a modicum of recognition.

I know that there are some among us who might be reticent to do so, but the reality is that victories for transwomen and transmen can be converted into victories for cis-men. They are breaking down gender barriers at a rapid clip. We need to support them and ther movement. They are not going away. And they, like us, are at odds with radical feminism.
