Can't vs. won't on the physical labour. I know hundreds of women who do trades jobs, and if you really look back at "women's work" throughout history, it's pretty unrealistic to say that taking care of a household and big families of children isn't physically demanding. That's just princess-washing.

Support women who take on labour/trades jobs, and let couples decide who takes the time off to care for young children once they're born or support a more even spilt of this time rather than focusing on women-specific maternity benefits that aren't for medical reasons (pregnancy and recovery from birth).

Men are not inferior caregivers by default, but many systems worldwide treat them as such. Pretty insulting tbh. I know lots of guys who feel like they missed out on watching their kids grow up because they were working, because their spouse didn't have a good enough job to justify her going back rather than him.

Empower men to take care of their household if they want, even if it's temporary. We shouldn't need to cut down men to empower women, we should support both.
