The self-fellating Hollywood press has been gynocentric since forever. It’s a tragedy when a female star is falling from grace, but male stars fucking explode when they go out and the media treats it like a circus or a disgrace.

They put Charlie sheen’s disturbed ass in front of a dozen cameras and his mental breakdown became a fucking meme. The same media which rushes to concern when a girl pop idol starts abusing substances will gladly turn a blind eye or even enable dysfunctional behavior in male stars.

Aaron is just witnessing male disposability first hand. A man is only as good as what he brings to the table, and no one wants a broken man. We spent so much time and effort bending to women’s wants that we’ve neglected men’s fundamental needs.

Will it ever change? When we can’t even give our veterans adequate care as they come back from war, I shudder to think how long it will take us to consider the average male’s mental health.
