A good chunk of the people I know, including myself falls into that category. My last "real relationship" was in my early 20's, after that I spent time making money, and accumulation nice things. 36, own a house, a shitload of vehicles, tools for a few trades, and have zero debt. I would say I am in a pretty decent place.

I got married when I didn't know anything about myself or life in general. After getting divorced I've made more progress in self improvement in 5 years, than I did in the ~13 years I was with my ex (that's not on her, she didn't prevent me from doing anything - it was all me not knowing any better). It's not until now (in my mid 30s) that I actually feel like a responsible adult. I consider myself having been a child right up until I got divorced.

I'm not saying don't get into relationships - but you have to know yourself well before you do or you'll get lost in it.

Small business question (because I like to ask the nice Reddit community that is mostly really intelligent): I'm living in a small village in Germany and look forward to trying an idea in my future. Not enough space is a big problem in my area and there are big landscapes from farmers that will probably be sold in a few years where you can from then on build on. Through planning of new concepts of engineers, it's possible to make regular sized houses for a price of like 40.000€. More and more people seem to care about their work-life balance but because of the price I can only rent it for about 400€ a month (ca.33€/day). But the houses would look more valuable and if I provide services like cleaning I can take 50€ a day because of the extra work which would be legal. Only a quick idea but some feedback would be nice
