As part of training myself to learn abundance, I've decided to take advantage of my situation of this stupid concept my secondary school (high school in UK) adopted a few months ago.

My school has 2 separate buildings that are 10 minutes away from each other when walking, everyday we have to switch between these two buildings during Break or Lunch. This, as far as I'm aware, was never a concept in my school's history. If anything, you'd only be allocated one building on certain days and stay there but I digress.

However, in between the 2 buildings is this one school, an all-girls Catholic Sixth Form (an alternative to college here in the UK). Sometimes we bump into them during our transition and their outdoor lunch.

How should I approach them? Should I make small chit-chat? Or should I attempt to pick them up like any other girl? I was thinking of making small chit-chat and then giving them my phone number? Take into consideration that they may not be walking towards the direction which the second building of my school is, so calculation wise I only have like 30 seconds to introduce myself and get/give numbers. I've approached girls before and I have confidence that some call "suicidal".

For those wondering, I'm in my early 16 and these girls may not necessarily be Catholic, many of them are non-Catholic/Christians as we live in an South Asian community. I'm Central Asian and these girls must between late 16 to early 18.
