I'd consider myself centre-left. I identify more with the left and progressiveness, but I'm very critical of the far left as well as the far right.

Leftist egalitarian here. Pro-abortion, pro-gay-rights, pro-social-assistance, pro-legal-immigration, pro-equality.

I don't hate women, I'm not incelibate, I'm not alt-right, I'm not a white-supremacist, and my criticisms towards feminism doesn't mean I want to reverse women's rights. I'm here because I genuinely believe in equality - as a boy growing up in Canada during the '90s I routinely saw the plethora of feminist messaging towards girls of my age group, in media as well as the classroom. I saw the female-empowerment they were showered with, I saw one campaign after another focused on all kinds of problems facing girls & women, yet I never saw anything similar for boys or men and the problems we face.

I'm here because I want to share relevant articles I stumble across, to discuss these problems with like-minded people, and to share popular articles to my facebook when relevant. The problem I have is that /MensRights has unfortunately been treated like the Refugee Camp / crossover point for deposed and marginalized sub-reddits - particularly of the altright/redpill variety. As a result we're routinely smeared and vilified as being woman-haters and racists.
