I've been seeing this girl for about three months now. She's wanted to be exclusive since we met and I held off for about 2 months. I'm 22, never been in a "committed" relationship, always FWB and ons however have always been open to the idea of an LTR so I thought I'd be an interesting experience. I decide to go exclusive with this girl.

When I met this girl she was a virgin. We had sex early Feb, after I'd been seeing her about a month and a half. We have had sex pretty regularly since. She tells me that she's a very loyal person, etc. etc.

She has had a trip planned to europe since before I met her. The night before she leaves on her trip, I come over to chill and fuck. She has a vase with flowers in it, that I did not get her.

I say to her, "those are nice, where did you get those?" and she says, "oh my friend X got them for me." Well her friend X lives in philly. We live in Texas. She is lying. And a bad lie at that. So I say to her "Doesn't she live in philly?" and eventually the truth comes out.

A guy from her work got them for her. She says that he's lame and that there isn't anything between them. She says that she lied because she thought I would get mad.

I knew this was a big red flag. Especially so early in our relationship. I wasn't sure what to do, so I cracked a joke about what a pussy this guy must be to get her flowers and leave them at her door ( which he apparently did ). And that was the end of it.

Or so I thought. That little lie really destroyed my trust in this girl. The whole time she was in europe, I couldn't shake the thought that she was lying to me about more than just the flowers. I couldn't shake the thought that she was getting plowed by random foreigners. She met up with a friend of hers there. She is 18 and a hot little thing. I know that this is the ultimate "she's goign to cheat" scenario so I said you know what, fuck it.

I blocked her on SnapChat, (which is how we were keeping in contact so that she doesn't run up her bill) and didn't talk to her for about a week. She gets back today and has been texting me asking what the fuck is up.

I guess what I'm asking is, is my reaction too extreme? I like this girl but I have had a bad taste in my mouth since the incident. And with the lack of trust with her being overseas without me for so long, I've ran through pretty much every scenario in my head of her getting fucked by some random dudes. I don't know if trusting this girl again is an option.

I'm thinking about breaking it clean and being done with it. Everything about her has been LTR worthy up to this point. I had other plates I was spinning before we went exclusive and it wouldn't be that hard to find more. Should I give this bitch a second chance?
