My employer is planning on creating a chatroom on the company chat system for all of the female employees to get together and have discussion. However, there is no male equivalent room planned, and there was even an alleged comment by the male CEO that whomever brings up a male-only room should be prepared to come talk to him one-on-one. I'm of the mindset that equal-rights means offering the same for both sexes, not more for one or the other. How should I approach by boss with my concerns, if it seems as though he is against creating a men's only chatroom for the office to go alongside the women's only room?

Am I missing something? AITA for wanting this?
