Wow, that's a lot of bullshit stuffed into one paper.

The author says that Brodsky's study on stealthing involved her visiting sites within the manosphere associated with men's rights.

Of course, anyone who looked at Brodsky's study and viewed her sources, knows that's simply not true.

Brodsky's sources were experienceproject.com (now defunct), and Iblastinside.com (also defunct). Neither of them have anything to do with the manosphere or men's rights.

At the time she did her study, the experienceproject was inactive. The thread she got her info from hadn't been posted in in a few years, and anyone with half a brain quickly realized that it was mostly, if not all bad fiction. There's no way in hell this should have been used as a source in a legitimate paper.

As for Iblastinside.com. It was a blog run by a gay man named Mark Benson who talked about how to stealth other men.

I remember the initial media blitz when Brodsky's paper came out. They all lied their faces off and wrote about how horrifying it was that there were large active communities of men out there, giving tips on how to stealth women. None of it was true.

In short - These three can eat shit - the media, the author of this paper, and Brodsky.

What is Stealthing?
Stealthing is a form of sneakily compromising, tampering with or removing a condom
Stealthing can involve someone strategically damaging a condom before intercourse, or the stealthy removal of the condom during intercourse. In the practice of condom stealthing, either party can be the deceptive one.
The receiving partner can damage the condom, either by poking holes in it, or suggesting to use a non-condom safe lubricant, like oil. On the other hand, the non-receptive partner can take the condom off during coitus. This condom removal technique is most common during doggy style, during which it is harder to see what is going on behind the receiving partner (unless mirrors are present).
Stealthing can occur between partners of any sexual preference, but is most commonly associated with women who are trying to become pregnant by poking holes in a condom, as in the banned clothing ad from Disigual ...., or by HIV positive people in the POZ scene who find gratification through the transmission of the virus. However, anyone can stealth– so even people in long term, monogamous and STD-free relationships should beware.
