Having spent most of the day argueing over the Gilette ad after sharing the Egard Watches video, I firmly believe someone needs to make a parody of the Gilette ad, and switch the genders around so people understand how this comes across and feels. Because a lot of people argue that "its only aimed at a small percentage of men" and others shouldn't feel attacked, and apparantly can't empathize.

So here's my idea. Make a parody ad in the exact same manner as this Gilette ad, but targeting women.

Showing - in the same slow motion - mothers hitting and yelling at their sons, wives being physically abusive towards their husbands, girls bullying other girls in school or on social media, and teachers sexually abusing underage boys, a group of older women grabbing a boys ass at a party, women kicking their husbands out with infants left behind crying, boys being punished by teachers for playing like boys, etc ...

And then rows of women AND men standing behind babby carriages saying things like 'stop being such a crybaby' or 'man up' or something like that...

And at the end of it have a black screen with in white text a loooong list of serious men's issues statistics scroll by, followed by a meaningful message at the end, like "time for society to come together and deal with issues of both men and women without divisiveness or exclusively focussing on women's issues" or something along those lines.

And the voiceover should be done by a woman so people are more willing to listen.

How great would that be? And I don't mean this in some mean spirited way to get back at women (and a lot of men too) for their lack of empathy. But merely to highlight how obvious the double standards are in our society, and to help promote awareness of men's issues.
