Pro tip for everyone other than OP:

Whenever you see a concern troll flouncing his way out of this sub in a tizz, as we see in this post, do a quick search to see if they've ever posted anything in this sub.

Usually they've never posted anything at all prior to their, "I'm leaving - boo hoo!" post. So you know the sub will lose nothing of value upon their departure.

It's very simple, just put "author:<username>" in the search box.

This sub has always been about freedom of speech, being your own person, etc but it downvotes EVERYTHING that goes against it's views (One of the biggest complaints it has of Feminism).

Imma call shenanigans.

The sub does not downvote anything. Individuals downvote, based on their own individual points of view.

The mods (as close as you can get to saying the sub does anything as a unit) do not ban people willy-nilly. We get a lot of feminists coming in to attempt to rebut the MRM position and mostly they get chased out by reasoned responses, or they're just doing a 'drive by' troll. Even then, even when it's glaringly obvious, they don't get banned for that.

As for individual opinion, I get into lots of big fights on this sub about trans rights; specifically the treatment of trans youth. I've never been banned, nor downvoted to oblivion, for those arguments. That's because 'we' understand the difference between debating facts and pushing ideological positions.

As for complaining about 'pussification', look at the controversy around the Gillette ad and the APA guidleines for treating men and boys. That controversy is based on the perception that there is a movement to 'diagnose' masculinity, to pathologise it, to pathologise MEN. Maybe one can crticise the word 'pussification' as being weak, but that's just word games on your part.

Even concern trolls don't get banned. The ones swanning in to tell us we are 'doing it wrong'. Yes they get downvoted; because we, acting as individuals, do so. There's no secret /r/MensRightsLetsDownvoteTheHeretic sub where we meet up to plan strategy to ruin the karma of innocent 'free thinkers'.

If you have a different PoV on events, then it's up to you to present it and defend it.

If there is one way in which I would be comfortable talking about 'we' in this sub it would be to say that WE expect you to have your big kid panties on when you take a position.

[edit to add] I challenge you to find ANY examples of people being banned from this sub simply for posting on some other sub. AFAIK, absent any specific reason due to their actions here, the mods of /r/SRS, /r/2xChromosomes, /r/Feminism or /r/MensLib are quite capable of posting here.

Add on: This sub comparing racism and feminism is like comparing racism and men's rights activists. I.E using the small amount of radicals to represent the group as a whole
