In 2003 a woman in New Zealand “had sex” (raped) a 13 year old boy but was not charged because it wasn’t illegal for women to have sex with boys. Are there other countries needing to reform their laws?

This was fixed in 2005, thank goodness.

It’s not uncommon for legal protections to only cover women and girls. Look at FGM for example

Calling bullshit on this story. Yes plenty of countries have definitions of rape that exclude women rapists but they also have a raft of other laws that she could have been charged with. They simply let her go because of her privilege.
