If you've ever played co-ed hockey the answer is obvious.

I'm an old, slow, fat man. I didn't learn to skate until I was 30. I grew up in SE TX and SoCal. There wasn't lot of hockey there when I was a kid.

In a league I used to play in, there were 2 girls who were about to go to an Ivy League school on a hockey scholarship.

They were clearly better skaters than I was, but I was a better hockey player. My size, reach and strength so overpowered them that I could trivially knock them off the puck before their skating prowess could come into play.

Needless to say, no one was offering me a scholarship to go play hockey anywhere.

The Canadian women's Olympic hockey team (the best women's hockey team in the world bar none) practices against midget AAA (14-15 year old) boys teams; in 2009-10 they had a 3-11 record http://www.amhl.ab.ca/standings.php?season_id=2. The reason there are no women in the NHL has nothing to do with unequal opportunity.

I'm 6 foot 250 pounds, a light shoulder slow hold they would go flying.

Now full contact have a 6 foot 6 230 pound defenseman do a full check they would end up in s coma.

Women just aren't good at sports.

And unless they're almost naked, nobody cares about watching them.
