Things men do for women that they don't even realise:
Crossing the street or walking more slowly so you don't feel uncomfortable.

You forgot scuffing your footsteps so she can keep an auditory 'check' on you as you go

What absolute horse shit. When I was 20 I was walking home from a friends house and I walked past two men sitting on a wall. As I walked past I heard them jump off the wall and start walking behind me, my heart started to race, it felt weird and I picked up the pace. I turned in to a park and then one ran just in front of me to block my path, I did a 180 and the other one was right there to stop me. I raised my hands in way of surrender, I’m no fighter, but he just punched me in the head. I fell to the ground immediately, and they both started kicking me, stamping on me, until an older man walking a dog started yelling and they bolted. They didn’t even try to mug me, they just wanted to beat the shit out of me, maybe they would have beat me to death if that man wasn’t there. Fuck knows. I ended up in hospital with broken ribs, concussion, severe bruising and cuts. So yeah don’t fucking tell me that men can just walk wherever and feel safe. I’ve never felt 100% safe walking alone.

Kind of like how women can be cowards and get patted on the head for it?

I don’t understand how the presumption is that men don’t have to worry about this type of thing. I’ve walked in his manner countless times in my life in situations that required vigilance and awareness of my environment. It’s not a gendered thing at all.

It’s called paranoia
Some women* women assume they will be rapped and attacked if they walk home alone or late at night.
Because all men are opportune rapists? /s
Really it’s sexism to assume that you will get attacked and that men don’t have that fear.

Doubly fucks men over. Saying we are all predators and saying that we cannot be victims.
Also fucks them over, saying they are cowards and cannot defend themselves.
But hey, logic never worked in their heads.

Keep in mind men are three times as likely to be victims of physical violence.
