I suspect that where there are senior male officers wol-whistling advise will be a low priority until someone starts using data to claim sexism is rife. Where there are female senior officers there will.be s Scrabble to get brownie points.

Many serving police in the UK are very unhappy with the cuts in funding, increased workloads and policing by data target. There is no spare capacity across the country and this is a big issue with the visit of Donald Trump. Normally extra policing is met by bringing in extra officers from across the whole of the UK under reciprocal support agreements between police forces. Presently there is no capacity to share. London is on its own, as is the Scottish Police Force in dealing with the visit to Scotland.

I suspect the failure of police to act on the invasion of the London 2018 Pride by RadFem loonies who actually stopped the parade was not just a fear of looking bad but there were insufficient police available to protect against such invasion and highjacking. It does not bode well at all.
