It's a big achievement for a teen boy to get a girlfriend after a lot of anxiety and wasted efforts. And how good it feels to have a girl by your side when you go out partying or walk to the school! I'm not a failure!

And then a break-up: I'm a failure after all! I'm good for nothing. There's no future.

For (most) girls, it's a different game altogether.

Adolescent boys find it more difficult to speak about their sorrows, and romantic break-ups negatively affect their self-confidence.

Of course, it can't be because of the deliberate polarisation of gender relations by feminists designed to turn women against men and make it downright impossible these days for men to socialise with women without getting falsely accused or being treated as a rapist or harasser before even meeting them face to face.

This quote just shows you how delusional these people writing these articles are about men's issues. They talk about the symptoms but they never go into the causes because they know that they will be implicated, at least that's my theory on why they're so deliberate in their attempts to avoid talking about these very real issues.

I find it fascinating that they haven't used toxic masculinity here, perhaps it's because they knew people like me would immediately pick up on exactly what their ideological beliefs are. Maybe this will signal a bigger trend in the media of avoiding feminist buzzwords because of the amount of negative backlash they keep getting for it.
