Well, in every country males don't have their right to bodily integrity protected, but in the U.S. genital mutilation is especially bad. It's completely illegal to perform genital mutilation on girls, but it happens to over a million baby boys in the U.S. every year, despite the fact that the most common form of MGM is worse than the most common form of FGM, despite that the least harmful form of MGM is more harmful than the most common form of FGM, and despite that the most harmful form of MGM is more harmful than the most harmful form of FGM. But, of course, there aren't any politicians that actually care about it in the U.S., because who gives a fuck if baby boys are raped and mutilated, as long as it doesn't happen to baby girls!

Genital mutilation is one of the worst things that you could possibly do to a person. To put it in perspective just how bad it is, most victims of genital mutilation that know what they lost who were also raped (whether they are male or female) have said that, despite rape being one of the worst things in their entire life, living with genital mutilation is far, far worse.
