I'm not sure that I think this story is that big of a deal. I think the double standard is bullshit; but when I was 16, I would have been very happy to sleep with this chic. No part of me would have felt that I was taken advantage of.

Okay can anyone explain this to me? The age of consent is 16 in my state. But I just assumed that anyone over 18 couldn’t consent with someone 16 or 17. But does the law say this? Because right now i’m an 18 year old kid and my girlfriend is 17 so by stories like this am I breaking the law as well? Because obviously this horribly wrong morally but what the hell does the law say about this compared to my situation?
